The Philosopher who made my Day

i do not like to post stuff that isn’t my own.
it almost never happens… but today, i will make an exception.

i keep a collection of post-it notes on my front door. every post-it has a piece of writing on it… a sentence, a word, a quote, song lyrics… something i enjoyed, something that stuck out. whenever i leave the apartment, my eyes lock on a random post-it… and usually, it fits my mood (creepy but true).
today, it was an old favorite of mine… and it’s been in my head all day.
thought i’d share.

Seek not the favor of the multitude; it is seldom got by honest and lawful means. But seek the testimony of few; and number not voices, but weigh them.

  1. Wisdom quotes are promising.

This is my favorite quote by my favorite.

All things are subject to interpretation whichever interpretation prevails at a given time is a function of power and not truth.

    ~Friedrich Nietzsche
