your virtual cousins
will never inherit
I love books. For the one my extremely kind mailman delivered to me today, I have waited for more than a year… and now I am sitting here, building my anticipation, just looking at it. Sweet agony.
This is the beauty I am looking at: Jim Butcher’s ” Cold Days”
… if you don’t know the Series and love to read, boy, you’re in for a treat. They are absolutely marvelous. Who knows, maybe one of you will get hooked as well.
Now… off to enjoy the moment I’ve waited for… for so long.

Ha! Well, my vision is bad enough that I do like the Kindle or iPad as I can make the letters very large! But they cannot be taken in the bath! Great piece. k.
haha no you better not…
thanks for the visit, Karin! 🙂
I’m with you . . . there is something about a “real book” that is missing in its virtual cousins. Enjoy your latest acquisition.
oh i’m on it 😉
ahh so true. I don’t have an e-reader, who knows when I’ll cave (if ever). But I love having a book in my hands and feeling the paper as I turn pages.
oh, so do i!
I can’t agree with you more,, e-readers are dead, a book lives in my hands. I love the imagery your words evoke, such an echo for what i feel about a new book
unfortunately, the ‘real book readers’ are a dying breed… *sigh*
true,,but that means more books for the rest of us 🙂
