preach to me
in utter silence ~
resemblance, though shared,
counts for nothing;
the listless, featherless bird
feasts on
moldy bread
and
poisoned water

  1. This is one of those pieces that I find intriguing for how I can’t seem to get my mind around it and yet it {{{reverberates}}}. It lives on that luscious edge of meaning and metaphor where it lies just tantalizingly….hidden enough.
