    Wow. I feel like this has been me. Really. “Just to break the surface”
    There is real pain in that. There are real habits of pain there. (or are they just in me?)
    Love what you’re doing with the parentheticals here. Just my cup of punctuational tea.

    • Oh I was so hoping to catch you sooner or later. Hi, JC 🙂 So good to see you, too! (And yes, just saw the Panda – or is he?! – posting right before I saw your comments pop up and quickly went over there to say hi (slugs? you perv! ;D).
      Well, I guess I’m… kinda… back. Heh. A little “spring cleaning” of the blog (yeah, I know it’s November) and… what can I say? The juices are flowing & I love it. Got 2 weeks off work, so I finally have time to unwind.
      And yes… of course I know Poemtstry – been following ever since you brought it to life I think. 🙂
      Hope to read something new of yours soon! Have fun with the legos! 😉

    • aw dang. of course you have.
      i feel terrible. can’t remember much of a lot of things lately.
      feeling all jangly. kinda unfocused. but then it comes back in bits and broken pieces. trying to get back to it. get it back together. work schedule is kinda wonky lately. not enough long periods of free time to produce like i feel i can/should. ah, well. also trying to practice self-acceptance and forgiveness.
      it’s all good work.

    • Oh yes, I feel you. It’s been such a long time of sporadically coming and going, that I don’t know up from down yet, either. And I know what you mean concerning work, etc. – sometimes daily life swallows us whole.
      But I’m pretty sure you’ll resurface – and I’ll be looking forward to it, when you do. xo Take care! 🙂

  2. I love this compositional idea of using words within words. The multiplicity of meanings beautifully expresses the complexities of life experience. In some ways it’s like a poetic version of “one person’s trash is another person’s treasure”. And how in some instances experience both simultaneously. Really well done!
